CE100 Combat Engineer Basic Course: Step one in the Combat Engineer Branch Education Program. Topics discussed in this course include Types of Combat Engineers, Tools of the Trade, and Basic Outfitting and Organization.
Prerequisite for this course: PD100
CE111 MOS Familiarization Course: This is the first auxiliary course in the Combat Engineer’s Branch series. It is designed to make the student aware of all of the various MOS’s available to CE Marines as well educate them on the courses they need to take for the various ratings available.
Prerequisite for this course: PD100, CE100
CE120 Basic History and Traditions of the Combat Engineers: This course is focused on the History and Traditions of SFMC Combat Engineers. This course covers both real and fictional traditions of CE, including the fictional historical background of the SFMC Combat Engineers and their real-life counterparts in Earth’s history.
Prerequisite for this course: PD100, CE100
CE152 Combat Engineer Vehicles and Equipment: The course provides a basic introduction to the key vehicles and equipment as is used by SFMC Combat Engineers.
Prerequisite for this course: PD100, CE100
CE201 Combat Engineer Advanced Course: Step two in the Combat Engineer Branch Education Program. This course delves into Combat Engineering Operations in more depth and detail than CE10. This course fosters a deeper understanding of the Combat Engineer’s role on the modern battlefield and the engineering requirements of maneuver units in the field.
Prerequisite for this course: PD100, CE100
CE212 Combat Engineer Advanced Tactics: This course examines the myriad detailing that the senior SFMC Combat Engineer should be familiar with. The course is designed to ask challenging questions for the CE Marine in nay theatre of operations and under a variety of conditions including the battlefield.

CE220 Basic Bridge Facts: This course covers the basics of bridge construction
Prerequisite for this course: PD100, CE100
CE301 Combat Engineer Independent Study Course: For the final step in the Combat Engineering Branch studies the student must complete an independent studies project. The independent studies project must either consist of a paper or another approved project. The student MUST submit a topic or project description to the Branch Director for approval. Once approved the student will then have 10 weeks to submit their independent studies project for grading. After submittal, and if the student receives a grade of Honors or Distinction on a 301-level course, they will be issued an Academic Excellence Award.
